2000 - STI Pre-School Bicutan, Inc.

It was during the summer of 1999 that STI Pre-school Bicutan opened its doors to young learners and began the early steps of its beginnings in a spacious lot in a quiet neighborhood. STI Pre-school Bicutan was a franchise of STI, Incorporated. According to its founder, the late Mr. Edgar H. Sarte, when STI entered the field of education, it had a dream to provide a place for nurturing young learners to help them discover and realize their limitless potential. The Pre-school adapted the feature of the “Personalized Education Program” and the so-called “Developmental-Interactionist” approach first advocated by Bank Street College in New York. STI Pre-school Bicutan used computer technology to help kids develop a solid academic foundation, confidence, self-discipline, independence, creativity, honesty and integrity. The learners had an extensive use of multimedia technology and offered supervised Internet access to its pupils.

STI Pre-school Bicutan, Inc. located in Marimar 2 Village, Paranaque started with school personnel that consisted of one School Directress, seven preschool teachers and three administrative staff who were set on nurturing the heart, the mind and the body that left each child with a solid foundation and a triumphant early education. Thus, the first graduates and undergraduates of twenty-five students marched on stage as the first batch of STI Pre-school learners in the year 2000. 

2002 - STI Academy of Paranaque, Inc.

In the year two thousand and two….

 

SY 2002 – 2003 -- January 7, 2003 (Government recognized released by Deped) – Complete Nursery and Kindergarten course; opened doors for Grades 1 and 2

The growth of the school did not stop with just having numerous preschool students. There was a high demand from the parents for the school to expand as they wanted their children to continue studying at STI. By school year 2002-2003 the Department of Education granted the school government recognition and full authority to operate the complete Nursery and Kindergarten course and Grades 1 and 2. STI Preschool became STI Academy of Paranaque, as the school accepted enrollees for Grades 1 and 2 students.

Effective SY 2009-2010 –September 09, 2009 (Government recognized released by DepEd NCR) –Complete Elementary Course

 

June 19, 2012 - Blessed John Paul II Academy, Inc.

STI Inc. decided to concentrate on the tertiary level and company-owned schools. It was high time for our school to be an independent institution. Thus, STI Academy Paranaque had to change its name. It would have to be one that is close to the school’s vision, mission and ideals. 

 

August 14, 2014 – DepEd granted SJPIIA Authority to operate the Grades 7 & 8 of the Secondary Course for SY 2015-2016
